L'Acadie Blanc

If you’re not absolutely sold on a particular variety or have any doubt whatsoever about which variety to try first, we strongly recommend starting with L’Acadie Blanc. It is quickly becoming known as the Canadian workhorse of wine grapes. This cold climate superstar has been nicknamed Nova Scotia’s Chardonnay from the rich, full bodies and flavorful wine it produces.

- Very cold hardy (said to withstand temperatures as low as -25 degrees Celsius)

- Increased protection against botrytis bunch rot (tends to produce loose clusters increasing disease resistance)

- Early to mid-ripening grape

- Potential to be very productive and high yielding
